About

Hello! I'm TK, an undergraduate student at Caltech majoring in Electrical Engineering (Intelligent Systems track) and minor in Robotics. Developing my main academic focus towards rescue swarm robotics, I have explored the basics and applications of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and robotics throughout my high school years and at Caltech: I've participated in numerous math and science projects/competitions (AMC, AIME, KMO, KYPT, KSEF, ISEF, IRO, etc.) and am currently working as a mechanical engineering sub team member of CAOS (Caltech Air and Outer Space).

Prior to my college career at Caltech, I had a year in Korea before coming to the US (a semi-gap year) which I used to tutor several subjects including AP Physics (Classical Mechanics, E&M), and linear algebra. I also worked as a math tutor in the education company in Korea called Rosebery Education, where I prepared my students for the math interview that was required for applying to KMLA (Korean Minjok Leadership Academy). The concepts I taught included geometry, combinatorics, number theory, and fundamental analysis.

These experiences enabled me to develop my style of teaching and communicating with students as a prospective educator. Feel free to reach out and I'm looking forward to get started!
